Dr. Christie Maloyed
I am an assistant professor in political science at the University of Nebraska Kearney. I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2010, and my bachelors from Emory & Henry College.
My research and teaching focus on religion and politics, history of political theory, American and Scottish political thought, and civic education.
In my spare time, you can find me training for my next race, reading post-apocalyptic novels, cooking vegetarian cuisine, sipping fine micro-brews, or walking my dog Argos.
Brett Alexander
I LOVE reality shows including Teen Mom and most of all Jersey Shore. It really is trash TV but I sincerely wish Snookie was my best friend and I believe that without her there would be no show. Some things I would like to do more often is riding horses and sleep. I have not found my calling yet and fear the day I graduate where I will need to decide which path to take.
Beau Andrews
My name is Beau Andrews, I am currently attending the University of Nebraska Kearney. I am majoring in Computer Science and Business Management. I am involved in Asian American Student Association and Navigators. Plus I am a Re-Founding Father for Phi Delta Theta. I enjoy spending time with friends and just having a good time. I enjoy running, hunting, basketball, and video games. Overall I am an outgoing, care-free, honest person who just enjoys life.
Casey Bartels
I am a freshman at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, a.k.a. UNK. I am majoring in Radiography which, in case you didn't know, is ultrasound. I graduated from an extremely small high school in Grand Island, NE, called Heartland Lutheran in 2011. Some of the things I enjoy doing are being outside (when it is warm) and staying active.
Blake Brouillette
I am a freshmen at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I am currently studying Biology and am planning to attend Med School after graduating. My passion in life is to help those who are less fortunate than I am, and to make an impact on as many people's lives as I can. In my free time I pole vault for the UNK track team and am involved in as much as I possibly can.

Kya Campbell
I am a freshman at the university of Nebraska at Kearney. I'm currently a deciding major but I'm leaning towards nursing. I enjoy listening to music, reading, and playing sports.
Reed Hanke
My name is Reed Hanke, I am from Kenesaw, Nebraska and am currently attending UNK as a Freshman. My majors are Exercise Science and Pre-Physical Therapy; I work at Mount Carmel Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In my spare time I'll be found at the YMCA or UNK training and longboarding around Kearney. I am very sarcastic.

My name is Hye jin. I'm an exchange student from South Korea and I'm majoring in public administration.I'm a senior in South Korea, and this is my last semester.

My name is Morgan (Mo) Kristensen. I grew up in a small town outside of Kearney, Nebraska. I have two very loving parents and a wonderful little sister. I am doing my undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and striving to attain a degree in Political Science and a minor in Public Health. Minyoung Lee
My name is Minyoung Lee. I'm from South Korea. I'm a exchange student from Inha University. I plan to stay in Kearney for 1 year. My major is Political Science & International Relationships in Korea, but I major in Political Science at UNK. I have a lot of interest in politics around the world.
These days, Korean Democracy faces a crisis because of Myung-bak Lee, Korean President. I do not think he is a dictator like Jeong-il Kim, because he was elected by Korean nation. But his policies has been very anti-democratic. He and the ruling party have limited civil rights by making laws during his term. He has suppressed labor unions, so some laborer killed themselves. Also, he has cut taxes for the rich. I think his policies are similar to George W.
Burke Lienemann
I'm Burke Lienemann, my hometown is Gibbon, Nebraska. I went to high school in Gibbon, as a student i was involved in football and wrestling. I graduated in 2011 and came to UNK in the fall of 2011. I am currently deciding on what I want to major in. After class you can usually find me working, I am a welder at Minden Machine Shop.

Tyler Shields
I am a basketball player at the University of Nebraska and I
enjoy pretty much any kind of sport. My father is a pastor at the
Evangelical Free Church here in Kearney and many of my beliefs are based
on my interpretations of the bible. I enjoy playing words with friends
and watching The Office. Sadly, The Office is not as good since Michael
Scott is gone though. I am very conservative when it comes to politics,
and am a closet Glenn Beck fan.
Caleb Schoneman
My name is Caleb Schoneman, I am a junior studying Sports Administration at UNK. I really enjoy going out to the lake and spending days outside in the summer. I am a diehard HUSKER fan and will basically tell you their team out there and I will debate with anyone about that. I am in the Nebraska National Guard and very pro military.
Ryan Thayer
My name is Ryan Thayer and I am from Fremont, Nebraska. I have one younger brother named Jay that is a sophomore in high school. Jay lives at home with both my mom Shelley who is an elementary PE teacher and Rod who is also a elementary PE teacher. I love to long-board, wake-board and am just getting into snowboarding. I workout just about every day and love trying to keep my body in shape.
